Dessert and Cocktails for two

The weather is turning in London, and with this i can only describe an endless desire to sit inside, eat, drink and catch up with friends.

Welcome to being in your mid twenties, and embracing the Autumn.

I had a partner in crime for this outing ((The London Blogger),  with Liberty London and 34 Mayfair and it was a delightful experience. Not only could we catch up in a beautiful restaurant  but drink cocktails and eat gorgeous desserts. A complete Clichè but i love it!

Number 34 Mayfair is a great find, tucked away behind Grosvenor Square in the heart of Mayfair. With the Liberty London ‘Garden of Beauty’ bespoke print for the interiors of Number 34 Mayfair launch, what better an opportunity than to celebrate this with a menu themed specially for it.

Address: 34 Grosvenor Square (entrance on South Audley Street), London, W1K 2HD

With an open kitchen, Number 34 Mayfair has a charming side restaurant where you can see the chef prepare the food, adding to the atmosphere, (and its also fab for people watching).

We picked the cocktails with Italicus Rosolio, Pineapple, Camomile and Lavender, bitters with champagne and elderflower foam (available with gin or vodka). A complimentary mix of rose champagne and beefeater gin, what more is there to like?

Dessert came and it certainly didn’t disappoint! I am a self proclaimed lover of dessert, and its always so disappointing when you order something off the menu and it is underwhelming.

Well, as you can see from the pictures – The Liberty Garden of Beauty not only looked but tasted amazing! Styled in the shape of a cushion (i mean, why not) the chocolate cherry and rose mousse cushion was accompanied by edible flowers, pistachio and cherry sauce.

It was a great Thursday girls evening, and certainly a restaurant that everyone should try for the desserts and cocktails. I am sure that the food would be amazing too, if we got that far!

Until the next foodie experience,

Isabella x
